What a subscription includes
A Meridian subscription unlocks project creation, media import, editing, creator tools, and watermark-free local exports. Monthly and annual plans include the same features. Apple displays the current price and billing terms before you confirm a purchase.
The monthly plan offers a two-week free trial for eligible subscribers. Apple determines eligibility. Opening or closing the subscription offer does not start a trial; it starts only after you confirm the purchase through Apple.
Explore in preview mode
Without an active subscription, you can open and play existing projects, save project copies, and export supported interchange files. Choose Help → Open Offline Sample for a small title-and-color project, or Help → Load Demo Project… to explore a finished film. Creating projects, editing, importing media, and rendering new exports require active subscription access.
Your projects, source media, and previously exported videos stay on your Mac when access ends. An export already running can finish; later queued exports wait for renewed access.
See your current access
Open Meridian → Settings → Subscription to see your plan, current access deadline, and renewal state. Help → About Meridian also shows the current subscription status alongside the app version.
Use Refresh Access to check your current access. If you purchased a subscription but editing remains locked, choose Restore Purchases using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Apple may ask you to sign in. A purchase awaiting approval unlocks editing when Apple confirms it.
Manage or cancel renewal
Choose Manage Subscription in Settings to open your Apple Account subscriptions. You can also manage subscriptions from the App Store account settings. Turning off renewal prevents the next automatic renewal; access normally continues until the current period ends. Check the date in Meridian rather than expecting editing to lock immediately after cancellation.
If Apple provides a billing grace period, Meridian displays the remaining access deadline. Review your subscription and payment information in your Apple Account if a renewal needs attention.
Get help without losing your work
If access does not update, check your connection, refresh access, and try restoring purchases. Keep your project files and media while resolving the issue. For assistance, visit Meridian Support with the app version, the displayed plan and access date, and what happens when you refresh or restore. Never send passwords, payment details, or purchase receipts.
